I put together an outfit from them several months ago. The directions are decent. The garments are a more complicated than the blocky basic stuff you can get from simplicity and other comercial patters, so take care to pin first and make sure you understand how the seam is going to go together. They included pictures so things are mostly clear, but take your time. I dont think you would find them difficult.

They are better in style than the patterns that are included with the Felicity set from PC and they come with a couple of pages of historical notes that were very interesting.
